"Hello. I hope you had a happy Purim. We wanted to tell you that we went as a family to Beit Hakerem to distribute mishlochim. It made Purim for us. Thank you for granting us this mitzvah. People were really happy, whether it was an 80+ year old, a 16 year old boy who said it was the first time he had ever received a mishlochim in his life, a woman who was so moved by the fact that people were thinking of others that she went out into the street to hug our mother. We spoke as a family and said that one day we would adopt this idea as a permanent custom on Purim without a vow in memory of Reuven the Great."
